The ACC Championchip might stay in JACKSONVILLE?!!
Thats right, Representatives of the Gator bowl Association have put up a bid to host the game 2008, 2009 2010. If anybody has been to Jacksonville for the a football game you'll agree with me. I had to go to alltel Stadium Twice in one month and it was the worst Stadium ever. It took 45 minutes to get to our seats because the walkways are so small. Also for a Title game the surroundings sucked. Who wants to spend the money to go to a city where the only thing you can do is see the football game. But I have to say some good stuff too. Other citys such as Orlando, Tampa, and Charlotte are also putting up bids. I just wish the game could be at the Georgia Dome.

The TRIFECTA of Georgia Tech
We may not have the All-American Calvin Johnson this year, but we have 3 other amazing athletes to back us up. First up is Taylor Bennett. Although we hadn't seen him till the last game of the season, he proved this game wasn't just a fluke. He completed 19 of 26 passes reaching 325 yards and three touchdowns which was a Tech record. Next is everyones choice, Tashard Choice. After transfering from Oklahoma he did all he could to prove he was the best, and he succeeded. He was the leading rusher in the ACC with 1,473 yards. He achieved the school record nine 100 yard games, including 7 straight. The Third is James Johnson. Although he was shadowed by Calvin Johnson for two years, he has a lot to show us. Some of his accomplishments were getting 39 receptions for 608 yards and seven touchdowns. He had a few distance catches too, including a 59 yard pass against Virginia Tech, a 59 yard Touchdown against against Troy, and a 46 yard Touchdown against Miami. With these three players I think Georgia Tech is ready to take on the ACC and win the Conference Championship.

The strength of the Yellow Jackets is its defense, which returns eight starters including All-ACC performers Adamm Oliver (DT), Philip Wheeler (LB) and Jamal Lewis (DB).
The offense is led by senior running back Tashard Choice, who led the ACC in rushing last season with 1,473 yards. Junior Taylor Bennett [Pictured Above], who started in the Gator Bowl, is at quarterback.
